This is what it looks like when you move cards on the scanner tray while scanning

A mishap led to something kind of funny last night.

This is what it's supposed to look like.
Easy, fast fun! And while I didn't plan to take part, from the time I hit "new post" to finishing it up to take the screencap: 2 minutes, 1.74 seconds. I got a post into the 5 minutes or less blog bat around. And most of that was spent waiting for the system to respond after I hit the photo adding button.
PS. This is also my 600th post.

  1. Back in the day (2014), I used to do a blog series most Friday afternoons where I had a "Baseball Card Dance Party" by moving cards while scanning them so they'd look funny, then making gifs out of the funky scans (kinda like the players were dancing). They never got much reader response, so I stopped doing those posts after a while, but I thought they were pretty dang fun.

    Congrats on 600 posts!

    1. Oh man, I think I missed those. I only started reading the blogs in 2014 so I have an excuse, but still. Thanks!

    1. Hah! I actually had to go back in and add that after I had already scheduled it. Thank you!

  6. Man, you could have fooled me into believing those were rare die cuts. I might have even spent 20 minutes or so searching for some on ebay. Great to see the Junk Yard Dog Jerome Williams in a post!

    1. Your comment reminded me about something I hadn't thought about in about 20 years! When I was first getting into the NBA in 1996, a friend had cut the corners off a 1994-95 Hoops card and tried to convince me it was a rare parallel!
