Today marks a first I didn't foresee ever happening. I don't have anything to upload! Since either 2010 or 2011, I've done my monthly upload to my websites on the 1st, or starting on the 1st, every month. I decided to do this because it was too much to upload everything when I did it as I did, which is what I did originally. It has worked well.
I didn't do any card scanning at all in August 2019. I didn't edit any scans. I didn't make any scans. Nothing. I talked about this a few days ago, but I figured I would get a couple things scanned at least. Nope. I worked on models instead. I finished three of them, two of which came out good. One was going good but got frustrating at the end. I still managed to finish it- earlier today in fact. Check Scale Modeling History because I plan to post it there- after I crop out the extraneous stuff from the background, anyway. Here's a sample picture of it.
I am sure I will scan in September- but not this week. In fact, I'm not going to be online much, if at all, for the next week. It's Adirondack Nationals week and the temperature is going to be in the 60s- for once, the heat is NOT going to bother me at a major car show! With my health problems, the heat is usually pretty brutal for me- anything over 80 and I have trouble breathing, and most shows are held in the summer. Some shows, even shows I love, I can only walk a half hour or so before it gets to be too much. With it being in the 60s, I should be able to walk around for a couple of hours at least! I can't wait. It's the only week of the year where I actually experience truly having fun.
Finally! A good weather year.
ReplyDeleteI'm a 60's kind of guy too. 70's starts getting uncomfortable. 80's? I've got my AC on blast.
ReplyDeleteI usually put mine in in April and take it out in December! Can't leave it in all year due to the weight of the snow.
DeleteEnjoy the Adirondack Nationals, Billy!
ReplyDeleteIt's been fantastic so far! I'll have a couple of posts from this week next week. Not going to type them on my phone, LOL
DeleteDon't worry about not scanning any cards, there not going anywhere, go do other things and have fun :)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great time at the card show!
