Here's another pretty rare error. I've shown this one before, I saved it from being thrown away by a member of the Trading Card Database.
Don't look too long, or you may find your eyes going different directions!
Interestingly, the front of the card was fine. You couldn't tell there was anything abnormal at all.
That card gives me a headache
ReplyDeleteDitto. Cool card though.
DeleteYeah, I try not to look at it too often! I will get another post up today so it's not the first thing evetybody sees, lol.
DeleteI think I've seen those before..they are disorienting!
ReplyDeleteI've posted this one at least three times, so I'm sure you have!😀
DeleteVery cool. I’d be curious on the actual mechanical problem that caused it to double stamp.
ReplyDeleteIt had to have been reloaded into the printing process (or possibly not removed after first printing) and the second time was not lined up the exact same way as the first. The fact that this in exists mean that others must have existed just like it at some point...the question is if they survive!
DeleteOne of my minicollections is a "bender binder" which in theory will have several pages full of trippy misprinted cards like this, so one could look through it and feel some "intoxication" from all of them. I've only got a small handful so far, though.
ReplyDeleteThis is the only one I've got so you're well ahead of me!
