when I began scanning the 2018 Olympic cards on January 9th, these two cards ended up next to each other...and by the placement it looks like they are holding hands....which in all actuality, they probably are, because they skate together in the Pairs competition!
This was totally unplanned...I wasn't even looking at the cards as I put them on the scanner tray!
I don't think I could do that again if I tried.
More on the Olympic set soon.

That’s great
ReplyDeleteI thought it was cool
DeleteThat is very neat, thanks for sharing. I've seen some insert cards that are created specifically to be placed together like a puzzle. Hadn't seen any base cards that went together simply by the photo. Good eye.
ReplyDeleteHmm, your comment reminds me to figure out if I ever posted the Stadium Club Triumvarite as a unit....and if not, post it!
DeleteVery cool. Reminds me of those Fleer Superstar cards from back in the 80's where they'd take to players and turn it into a puzzle.
ReplyDeleteMot being a baseball guy I am unfamiliar with them. But I do enjoy the cards that can be put together to make a larger picture.
DeleteAwesome. Time to buy a lottery ticket!!
ReplyDeleteWin lotto = buy more cards. Works for me!
DeleteIt's fun when you find cool stuff like this.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was interesting, at least enough to get a post out of.
