Began collecting cards at 4 years old, and never stopped. I'm 30 as I write this. My relatively poor health allows me ample time to write about cards.
I ONLY trade duplicates- no exceptions. I'm proud of the fact that I've never sold a single card. I have given away lots of cards, but all duplicates.
I am a set collector, with my ultimate goal being to complete every major set, and as many inserts, parallels, etc. as possible.
I collect the NBA, NASCAR and some non-sports cards, favoring Star Wars, history, automotive, and comic books.
I am also a fan of Star Wars, comic books, and classic cars, naturally :) I am also a diehard history buff, with my favorite era being Ancient Rome and before.
I am a scale model builder, though not a particularly good one, however I have made it into both Scale Auto and Model Cars.
I am a decent photographer. I run my own website, which I have hosted since 2004, and I am closing in on 300,000 photos.
I'm a big time collector of stuff- some would say a hoarder. 1/64 die cast used to be #1, although cards were pretty much tied most of the time. I had to retire from diecast in 2014. You can see most of my collections in various stages of photo documentation on My Website. That includes my cards, which I have been working on scanning since 2009. I don't expect to finish until 2018 at the earliest, but probably later.
That about covers me in a nutshell- anything I forgot to include, just ask and I'll probably tell you.
