The world of basketball was hit particularly hard with 24 of the 63 people on this list being from it. Due to the fact that I did get more baseball scanned in 2024 it may be a contributing factor as why the new record number of people appear, as 9 of them are baseball players this year.

ReplyDeleteNice tribute. There were a few I remember hearing about either on ESPN, the news, or blogs... but most were new to me. Very sad to see a number of these people were younger than me.
