New People added to my Collection in October 2018

Not as extensive as the hockey post, but there were still new people added in the month. Unusually, I got two issues of SI for Kids in October and that leads off the month...

And as it turns out, the two issues of SI Kids turned out to be the only new additions to my collection in the month of October who were not NBA or NHL. (I added no new NASCAR people for the month, either).

    I was really happy to see them include a card of Naomi Osaka after the whole US Open fiasco.

      I don't follow Tennis at all...what happened? I do know it's her first card ever.

      She beat Serena... but Serena had issues with the officiating, which headlined the event... rather than focus the attention on Osaka. The way she (Osaka) handled the situation was admirable. She seems like a real class act.

    Great Courtney Conlogue card. Surfing probably lends towards good photos. Nice seeing cards included in SI for Kids. They are pretty cool.
